Our Aged Espresso Balsamic is amazingly complex with layers of authentic espresso and dark roasted coffee. This makes a fantastic glaze or BBQ base for pork, beef or chicken. Exquisite when used in an “affogato float”, which calls for one part espresso balsamic to four parts vanilla bean ice cream or gelato. Mix with Blood Orange or Chocolate Balsamic and savor the finest.
Grilled Taco Burger
1 lb. ground sirloin
1 pkg. taco seasoning
2 Tbsp. Old World Olive Co. Espresso Balsamic
1 Tbsp. tomato paste
¼ cup minced white onion
1 pkg. smoked Gouda cheese
1 pkg. brioche buns
1 large tomato
1 head leaf lettuce
Mix first 5 ingredients together and form into ¼ lb. patties. Grill until medium well or your preferred temperature. Assemble burgers with the rest of the ingredients.
Sweet Maple Pasta with Walnuts (Vermont Maple Balsamic)
1 lb. angle hair pasta
¼ cup sugar
OWOC Vermont Maple Balsamic, to taste
Walnuts, to taste
Raisins, to taste
Sour Cream, to taste
OWOC Espresso Balsamic Vinegar, to taste
Boil pasta in salted water adding ¼ cup sugar. Boil until done. Heat large pan and add balsamic. Add walnuts and raisins to pasta and toss. Plate pasta. Add a dollop of sour cream infused with Espresso balsamic and serve warm.
