A Letter From the Founders

There are places in the world where meals are never hurried.

Where bread is broken before business is discussed.

Where recipes are passed from one generation to the next.

Where the table is not simply a place to eat—it is the heart of the home.

As we traveled through the olive groves and villages of Italy, Greece, Spain, Sicily, Malta, and beyond, we discovered something far greater than extraordinary olive oil.

We discovered a way of living.  A way of slowing down. Of welcoming strangers as friends.

Celebrating ordinary days as if they were special occasions.

We returned home with a dream—not simply to open a store, but to create a place where those traditions could live on here in Michigan.

A place where everyone feels welcome. Where tasting is encouraged. Where stories are shared.  Where questions are celebrated.

Where every bottle carries the passion and generational pride of the people who produced it.

Over the years, we've learned something that continues to inspire us every day.

People rarely remember exactly what they ate. They remember who they shared it with.

They remember the laughter. The conversation. The birthday dinner. The Sunday pasta. The holiday charcuterie board.The bottle of olive oil that became part of a family tradition.

If Old World Olive Co. becomes a small part of those memories…

Then we've accomplished exactly what we set out to do.
